Empower Identity and the ME -Power Tool
Empower Identity is a neurodiversity-affirming self-advocacy program for teens. Students learn about their communication and learning profile, identify useful supports, and practice explaining what they need.
The ME-Power Tool helps students translate their learning profile into their own words: my challenge, the support, and how it helps me. The program can be offered individually, in pairs, or in small groups.
Speaking Engagements
Voula combines more than 25 years of clinical school-based experience with current research and practical application. Presentations are customized for professional and parent audiences.
Suggested topics include neurodiversity-affirming practice, authentic communication, student self-advocacy, counseling-informed SLP practice, stuttering support, clinical education, effective feedback, mentorship, and professional well-being.
